U.S. Mint Bald Eagle Coin

Question by Mad_Hatter: I need help identifying the value of this coin?
On the front of the coin it says it is from 1980, has a picture of a man going bald and looking left, and it also says diez pesos. On the back it has the eagle on the cactus eating a snake. It also says Estados Unidos Mexicanos. I figured out its from Mexico i just dont know its value.

its 10 pesos...im not sure what that is in american money though.

I am curious who minted the bullion? I am curious if there are any others available out there and where I would purchase them? I am curious about the estimated value of these coins? Finally, I am curious what the symbols on the rim of the coin indicate?

The coins has bald eagles on one side - then it says "Bald Eagles - No. 11 1971" on the other...it says "Sterling" on the rim followed by 3 symbols. The coin weighs in at exactly 2.3oz.
