Question by shorty: When was the first American bald eagle printed on the back of a coin?
I would just like to know (link if possible) what year did America start printing the eagle on US currency (coins, etc.)? I know they started using the eagle was 1782, and that is about all I know. thanks

If memory serves me right, the first eagle appeared on the 1794 Flowing Hair silver dollar.
